Work for Wednesday 18th January
Hello lovely year 8,
1. Look at the following website.
https://www.ego4u.com/en/cram-up/grammar/passive
It has lots of the information we were discussing yesterday. Read through it and then attempt some of the exercises at teh bottom of the page.
COPY and PASTE at least five of these exercises into a word document to show me on Friday.
2. Start designing a poster on the uses of the passive voice and on its formation (like the tables we looked at on Tuesday)
Have fun!
NOTE: YOUR FIRST ASSESSMENT OF THE TERM WILL BE ON TUESDAY 24TH JANUARY.
This will be criteria B (Reading comprehension) and Critera D (Grammar). Passive voice and being able to use it in various tenses will be tested!
